Finally got the hideous 70's herculon chairs done.  Gone from Junky to Swanky and modern, looking good with the tripod lamp.

Did you change up the tripod lamp too?

Thanks for the compliments.  You can do it, start with something simply made. 

I made the lamp from an old tripod.

The shape of the chairs is fantastic and you did a great job recovering. The tripod lamp is pretty cool too.
