I made these bags from stripey granny square stitch in the round then sewed up the bottom, added a lining and handles...I love the rainbow one, I took it to a craft fair today but it didn't sell, so I think I might keep it for myself!

Those are really nice bags, I'm surprised they didn't sell.  Are they lined?

thanks everyone Smiley

They're both lined and have a pocket too...I didn't sell anything that cost over 4 at my fair yesterday, sold loads of little things but I guess the big spenders weren't out!

They are so nice.  I think it is sad that such beautiful, well made items don't seem to sell at craft fairs. People often just don't appreciate how much work goes into these things.

Thanks Cheesy it was a bit disheartening having people look at the price tag and obviously quickly put the bags down, but I always pay a bit extra for something handmade that I absolutely love and can tell has been a lot of work, so I just need to wait for those customers to come along!

Yes really really cute. I have been wanting to use up some cotton yarn I have. Your pretty bags gave me an idea. Thanks!
