In my craft business, I make limited-run, limited quantity items. Depending on the complexity of the item, I might only have a couple of them in stock (for example, wine racks). For other items, such as soap, I might have a few dozen. And, there's no guarantee that the item will appear again once it is out of stock.

I was wondering if it would be useful to display the quantity of the items I have in stock? I'm thinking that if you see something on my site that you really like, you might be more inclined to make a purchase if you see that only 1 or 2 are left in stock. Thoughts?

Thanks for any opinions.

You've already answered your own question. General rule, if it can't hurt, but might help, then go for it.

Thanks for your response, CraftyChef. That's a good way to put it.
