This is two projects into one.  I needed to mount a 'latch hook' rug that I did centuries ago LOL.  I could not find what I wanted to do. It was not until I saw towel toppers that I was inspired to finish this project. I did not want the rug to be on the floor otherwise would get stepped on.

I mounted latch hook rug using crochet triangle


The triangle mesh:



The triangle pattern, for this project  12  clusters for row 1, 7, 5, 3, 2, 1 accordingly:

I also had done a trim of single crochet for row one then did Increase of 5 single crochet into each foundation chain.
   

The latch hook is from a kit, i believe caron.
