This is fabulous! I found this pattern kind of by accident. I was angry that Lorax plush dolls were so freakin expensive so I started looking for ways to make one. I had NO idea how to crochet but I was so determined to make him, I went to Walmart and got some Red Heart and a needle. I soon realized that I was going to need to learn some basics first... but a few months later, I am FINALLY making him! I am a science teacher, so I want him for when I teach conservation and Earth Day. I am *trying* to make him a little bigger than the pattern, by continuing rounds until it is 10 sc, 2 sc in next.... and then I will substitute for the rest of the pattern. I am kind of just winging it Smiley

Thanks so MUCH!
I will definitely be posting a picture.

Oh, I love the Lorax!!! I have the original animated cartoon for my kids, but I secretly have all the songs memorized!  Great timing too, since the movie just came out!
