Snow White/Evil Queen

I liked the idea of opposites and tried to incorporate as many as I could in this project.
I decided to do a reversible snow white/evil queen costume.  Snow white has short puffy sleeves/ queen has long skinny chiffon sleeves (these tuck up inside the puffy sleeve when SW is worn).  SW has dropped waist and is knee length whereas the EQ is high waisted and full length (this is held up with hooks and eyes under SW and helps the skirt puff).   So here is snow white:

I started with 2 separate patterns and tried to sort of meld them so they would fit inside each other

the biggest headache was sewing the invisible zip to 2 dresses and figuring out how to make the collar stand up (my sewing light died early on so I had to gerry rig a desk lamp, lol)

Now for the the back,

and with some cute woodland creatures

This is unbelievable!! They look gorgeous on their own, but the fact that they are reversible is amazing! I love the simplicity of the Snow White dress against the "gothic" beauty of the Evil Queen dress.

Great job!!
