"Unpaper towers," I like that name  Cheesy  They are still pretty, though, even if they are plain. I like simple and plain things a lot, especially for housewares.

What are the bowl covers for, though? Are they for storing things?

Here's the package I received today!

Deodarant (which I really wanted!  I've been wanting to make my own and haven't gotten around to it so this is great!), face cream, and 2 lip balms.  Everything smells so good!  I can't wait to try everything!  And a cute pack of stickers.

Thank you!

The bowl covers: instead of using cling film or plastic tupperware, they can be made lined with a pvc fabric or ripstop nylon to make them more spill proof, but Velvet Rose wanted them to be more breathable to allow fermentation without  letting stuff fall in the bowls, so these aren't lined.

I received from AttieNichole today, and I am so amazed by her talent!  I'll show you the two big pics of the crafteds and the extras first:

The crafted items include:  Awesome spring scarf made from recycled clothes; funky peace necklace (which uses some of the yarn I sent to her and which I also put on right away!); Cute teal-colored tin with my inital on top-- Yay for craft storage!; semi-homemade liquid handsoap (with instructions!) and spray lotion (which smells ah-mazing!); fabulous dish scrubbies-- we both crochet, so we tried to avoid our "in-common" craft, but I'm glad she included these, cause she used plarn to make them "scrubbier," an idea which I am totally stealing!; and a handbound journal and bookmark (her first ever attempt!  totally great!)... which you'll see more of later, because I'm totally in awe!

The extras include: ADORABLE owl candle, which, of course, I will not burn, because he's too cute; pretty silver sparkley candle; really cute tin sun wall hanging (which will make my porch look way less boring!); and candies... which I've devoured as I've been typing.   Shocked

Now, for the up-close images of that awesome journal and bookmark... prepare to pin.

GAH!  So cool!  In case you couldn't tell, I love owls... all woodland friends, really, but especially owls.  And the bookmark says "talk nerdy to me."  Hilarious.  She may have done some awesome and intense stalking to find that phrase listed among my pins/wists/etsy loves.  Just saying, excellent stalker.  Smiley

The back is equally gorgeous:

More owlies on the bookmark, and beautiful paisley!  One of my favorite "patterns" I listed was paisley, and this is such a cute one!

AttieNichole, I'm so glad we were partners, and I'm totally amazed, inspired, and in love with all of the things you sent!  Thanks, lady!

If I had a needle and thread, fine as I could sew, I'd sew my true love to my side, and down the creek

Rantyhippie: I recently saw potato bags at a craft fair and want to make them too. Do you just use standard cotton batting?

Antidigger: what are the unpaper towels made of? It looks like microfiber on one side, not sure the other. The bowl covers are great too...

I received from pollyprissypants today, a very useful package. I'll post pics later Smiley

I'm officially in love with that potato bag and the cloth bowl covers! I never thought of using cloth covers before. Makes sense, duh! This gallery is awesome so far, so much wonderful stuff!
