I had an idea to make a rainbow petal skirt a few months ago but never got around to it until this challenge. I decided to make a reversible skirt that I could change in the middle of an evening out to give 2 looks! I came up with the pattern by myself out of newspaper. It has a thick black elastic for a waist band on the non color side and a thick white elastic on the color side. I hope you enjoy!

Here is the skirt side by side!

And here are some just for fun photos!

Thanks for taking a look!

How cute! Looks like its nice and twirly too. I love reversable skirts, they're great for when you spill something on yourself at lunch, you can just go flip it instead of having to walk around the rest of the day with salad dressing stains all over your lap.....not that that exact thing happened to me last time I went out to eat or anything  Wink

Love the skirt.  I sew dance costumes and this would make a great stage skirt you could use it for 2 different dances or scenes and have to only sew 1 skirt. Superb!

So cool! I especially love the way you might just get a sneaky look at the rainbow side when you're wearing the black and white side.

Very good idea! Especially useful if you want to change your outfit after work or so without carrying extra clothes with you...

2-in-1 clothing is so awesome, and both your sides are very pretty!
