I made these wall hangings for my wonderful partner Averia in the Theme Box swap for her Firefly show theme. I printed these images onto fabric and then quick turn quilted them. Thanks for looking!

And this is the pic my partner took of the group. Mine didn't come out too good.

That is possibly the greatest thing I have seen on craftster EVER!!!!  love these.

What technique did you use to print on fabric?

Amazing great idea and execution, your swap partner is super lucky!

Thanks so much!  Grin

I believe that was the tutorial I used. Basically, I just cut out a piece of freezer paper the size of printer paper and then ironed it onto fabric then cut the fabric to the size of the freezer paper. Then you put it into the printer like you normally would paper.

I believe you have to use dye based ink and bubble set jet if you want it washable, but for a wall hanging regular ink works fine I think.  I have a whole list of things that I want to print now.  Cheesy

These are so awesome! I can also see them as part of the coolest quilt ever, too.

Thanks! I agree they would make an awesome quilt, the same thought crossed my mind after I had them finished. In order for it to be washable though you would need the right ink and the bubble set stuff.
