I am in hopes that Patraw will not mind if I borrow his stunning pics to show off my card. I do not have his talent.

Bird is pen and ink with watercolors. I made it so he was permanently on but could stand up. Chose dotted paper and washed blue for a cold snowy look.

Then comes the outfits....

Hippie!

Faerie!

And my fave, the guy who can never get away from the sea anyway.

So, I did the entire thing with giant unweildy kitchen scissors because all of my nice tiny blades were dead. As I tried desperately to cut the last tiny bits, my daughter texted me that she was at the craft store....did I need anything? new xacto blades arrived an hour later just in time to do the last wee bits that no scissors on earth could ever touch.

This is fantastic!  His little outfits are all so cute, the hippie one is my favorite.  I love all the details you put into each piece!  Smiley

Beautiful painting, super fun outfits and smart way to stand him up.
One of my favorite cards for sure.

I've already told you how much I enjoy this garment-swapping flightless birdie that you crafted for me, but I'll say it again: It rocks!!!

If you have a pair, I highly-recommend cuticle scissors--they're fantastic for cutting small things like this and I use them extensively.  The only downside is that the blades tend to be slightly curved (an nails tend to be), so it can be tricky to cut perfectly straight lines with them.

Using my photographs is perfectly fine--you're the one that made the penguin paper doll, so, in my mind, you're entitled to use my images of it whenever and however you want.
