this was a project i LOVED seeing finished.
it was a lot of work to put together (and figure out the pattern) but the end result was well worth it.
a friend of mine had pinned this exact apron pattern to their pinterest boards, and my immediate thought was "i could TOTALLY make that for her".  well, i changed the fabrics to be her favorite color, and went to town.
first problem, the entire pattern was written in metric.  i'm in the USA, so thanks to the inches, i had a whole bunch of conversions to make.
of course, my next problem came when i went to print out the tutorial, and the website was down for about a day (which in "wanting to be productive" time, felt like a month!)
once i got the project going, i didn't want to stop.  unfortunately, work got in the way and make me take breaks.
in the end, i got it all done, top stitched and good to go.
would i do this apron again?  absolutely!

so i don't flood you with a ton of photos to load, the rest are on my blog, as well as links to the tutorial used!

Hit this rocks, as this is one of the nicest aprons I've seen to date.

I'm really bummed that my measuring tape is not like my mother's: hers has inches on one side, and cm on the other. I'm used to metric, but with hers, I could do things with inches without the need to to so many conversions!

This is so cute! I love how just changing the fabrics you can completely change the style of the whole thing, and the one you made is so fresh and fun Cheesy

By the way, I went over to your blog, where you said the link for the tutorial was mentioned, but I didn't find them there. Do you still have the link?

I went to look for the linkt too: it's the words "frilly apron" on the very bottom of the post.
It just isn't marked or blue like most links.

Love it! Would you mind posting a photo of the back if you have one? Tutorials without pictures don't suit me, but I am close to figuring this out!  Cheesy I've been hmm-ing and ha-ing over this apron i found on pinterest as well.
