First, I have to say, I am very proud of my determination to get last second touch ups done on my pouch yesterday. It hit 80 degrees here, in Maine, that's unheard of for March! It's 70 today, and it made for a nice stroll to the post office to mail Leighi123's goodie box! It's off:) My oh my there's some beee-utee-ful packages arriving to their homes. I am one super pumped girl.

Your weather sounds much like our weather here in Kansas!  I have friends and neighbors who have already turned their cool air on!!  I love this weather - it's been cloudy and rainy today - perfect day for staying home all day and sewing - that's all I did all weekend - it was HEAVEN!  But today, I had to go to work at the office - oh well, another hour and I get to go home and do some more sewing!  Yay for me!    Smiley

It's fantastic isn't it?Smiley We must be the few that embrace dreary weather for maximum craft productivity:) Yay, DC# says Leighi123 should be receiving tomorrow, fingers are crossed Grin

Got my package from imebears last week and the pink Kindle monster fairly leapt from the box.  Very creative with its tail doing double duty as the handle.  The little pincushion is cute, the granddog had a bit of a chew on the fuzzy part but I saved it.  Whew.  Good thing she only plays with things.

Finished my swap today (never met a deadline I didn't want to meet in person--at the last second!) and will mail it off as soon as I've posted here.  Thanks, imebears, for the monster.

Awww, that is a cute monster, imebears!  I love the spots all over it.  Is the fabric velvet or something similar?  It looks soft.  Nice pincushion, and extra fabric.  Great package!

I received from Foxy Sam last night and OH MY!!!!

First, we both couldn't decide on just one idea, so we made each other two pouches.

First up is a monster for my Kindle Fire! And just LOOK at this cheeky fellow!

AH ha ha ha ha ha ha!  I love it!

And the Kindle fits *perfectly*.

Next she played around and made a sort of kitty monster, which made me laugh when I first saw it - I love it, Foxy!

Hee hee hee!  That tongue is cracking me up.  Snort!

and it opens like this:

Hee. TONGUE!

I think miss kitty monster will carry my comb and chapstick and such to work for me in my big bag.

And she also sent me some extras - quite a few yummy chocolates in silvery packages (um, you only see, what, two here? there WERE many many more. NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM), a cute little card that she made with my favorite Pusheen character and also a little picture inside of one of my favorite prints from Etsy, and then the CUTEST little KIWI BUTTON!  I love Kiwis! Foxy, I follow Manukura (the little white kiwi chick) on Facebook, and I love making kiwi stuffed animals!  Grin

That gray stuff, by the way, is my cat Phoebe who MUST supervise every photo I ever take inside the house. She is now OBSESSED with the kitty monster pouch. While I've been typing, she grabbed the pouch and carried it away and is now sleeping on it!!! I'm going to have quite the time keeping it away from her, I foresee....

THANK YOU!  Love love love love love the monsters.  My Kindle is now safe from scrapes, the kitty monster makes me laugh, I loved the sweets (the orange cream filling was FANTASTIC) and you even made Phoebe cat happy!  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
