I've been a member of Craftster for a looooong time and have never once posted anything, and I've vowed to change that!  So to start it off, here is my very first post and my very first challenge entry.
I made a small happy (dog?) monster guy who turns into an angry (cat?) monster guy:

That's so cool! I love how they turn from each other's mouths, especially how the ear of teh blue one turns into the tounge of the orange one. Kinda reminds me of those old 80's stuffed animals, I think they were called Popples (I don't know why I can't remember, I had about a dozen of them), but a way cooler version.

How ever did you make it work like that? I've been sitting here staring at it racking my brain on the engeneiring of the whole thing.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments!  Ivory - I made something like this, but a LOT more complicated a long time ago for a college art class assignment to make a toy, and I think Popples were actually my original inspiration.  It's really not terribly complicated to make and if I have a chance later, I'll make up a little tutorial and post it on here.

OMG Its a monster eating cat! that so bizarre and brilliant!

I remember my school having these as puppets on a stick (when the stick was pushed up, one doll would "swallow" the other) but this is cooler cause it sorta look like they are going to eat eachother in a constant loop forever and ever ;P
