Just as I was leaving for work this afternoon, the mailman was dropping off a package for me!  I practically tore it out of his hand LOL!
I was given the most awesome irish themed hoop by redstar13!! It's a claddagh!!  I absolutely love it, the stitching is awesome and the gold thread for the crown is perfect!!
Thank you sooo much redstar13!!

I can't wait to get home and hang both my new hoops on my hoop wall!!

Hey there! I received a wonderful names hoop today from time http://www.craftster.org/pictures/data/500/medium/67496_15Apr12_IMG_2582_1_.JPG THanks so much for all your effort time, its beautiful... Only thing is I have to figure out how to fix my daughter "Kayleigh"'s name... its Kaleigh on the hoop... oops you forgot the Y's!   so instead of saying Kay lee we have said welcome to the family cal lee... hehe, she didn't think it was funny but we did... shrugs... I can maybe undo her Ka and redo them with a y... hope I can do like your great lettering!

GODDAMNIT! I am so sorry. If you're going to pick the stitiches out the fabric will stand up to it. It's been backed with fusible interfacing. The stitches are:big name: whipped backstitch, shiny name: split stitch, medium name:stem stitich. I can make you another if you want but I'd need two weeks sew time to get it out to you.

I've been super swamped... (Thanks for posting a pic nilmerg.. I didn't realize it didn't post).. here is a picture of the two hoops I've received... one pinterest inspired (a beautiful Scandinavian style piece by TheManicCrafter) and one for "Remove your shoes" by nilmerg (which just has such fantastic stitches!)  Thanks both of you for amazing hoops!!!

Oh I'm glad you like it it was my first ever embroidery so I was a bit worried, but when I saw it on your pinterest I was smitten with it, it was so cute

No worries!  Do you have the numbers/color names?  I have tons I can try to match to it, I might just redo the metallic one because I don't have any like that but should have all the others.  I love the hoop, really!!  Its great, the Ys was the only problem... and my fave color is blues, my whole kitchen is blue themed so I have a place for it to go!
 

I pm'd you. I'm serious about re-doing the hoop for you. It would be no bother.

She's got very clear instructions on how to do the different stitches; as well as short video tutorials that demonstrate the stitches. the videos are well done; very easy to see what she's talking about. She's got some great articles under the tips and techniques section on designing and laying out embroidery designs too.

apparently my hitchcock hoop is mia! >_< i called the post office and they basically told me to call back tomorrow to speak with  some sort of specialist. they better find my hoop ::raisedeyebrow::

Just checked my mail and I got mine! I'll post pics a little bit later.

I did get a good scare when I got the package. The post office literally crammed a 9" by 12" stiff mailing envelope into a 6" by 9" apartment style mail box. It was shoved in diagonally and stuck but good.

Love this so much. It's made of pure awesome. I really like that the words are a little 'shaky' as if she embroidered this while running away.

Here we go.


Amnesia made the word sweet so it looks like brains and guts.
