Anyone else in love with the Masterpiece Series Downton Abbey? I can hardly wait for season three! And I have a LONG wait!  I've not seen any swap like this, or did I miss it? I'd love to do a swap based on the series and time period. Interest? I've never organized, but would be willing to give it a try!

I love the show and the time period.  Depending on the size and time frame of the swap, I'd be interested!

I just started getting into the show - definitely have a love of period pieces. For anyone who hasn't heard of the "House" series on PBS - there's a mini series called Upstairs/Downstairs I believe which is a documentary/informational reality show about people from modern day life "going back" to that time period just about the time of Downton Abbey, playing the parts of master and servant, and is really interesting. They did other House series replaying frontier life, colonial life, etc.

Yay! Glad there's some interest. I'm thinking of signups starting mid March, a month crafting time, and... 5 points? Thoughts? I'm open to changes!

Oh, and sheepblue, I LOVED the "house" series when I was younger! They were done about 10 years ago now. I'd love to see them again. Are they on PBS or online somewhere?

Geeze was it that long ago? I still remember and love them.

I found upstairs/downstairs, the frontier house and regency house party on youtube. If they're anywhere else I don't know.

I love this show!!! I just bought season one and two from pbs, for less than 40 bucks. I would be all over this swap!

I also remeber the house shows, there was a ww2 one set in england that was good. Ill have to go to youtube and find the. Also you can watch stuff at pbs.com as well, thats how im watching season 2. I am not pleased with what they did to one of the characters though.
