I remember my older brother growing crystals on a brick when I was little. It wasn't a kit, so it must've used readily-available household chemicals, though I have no idea what they were. I remember they were clear, but you could add food colouring to make them grow in colours.

I'm still about, sent yesterday!!  I love what I see you've made so far.  I try to send enough without it getting too weighty, so now I'm worried I haven't sent enough! :s  I hope its adequate!

Whileitsraining sent me a lovely package. I am sorry for not having time to post images. Lovely items. I also received a ring, but it snapped off its ring, will get a picture in a few. If you have a picture of it please post it. I love it. I LOVE my Roman/Grecian Steampunk Goddess. Oh and my 13 year old pinched those socks from me. LOL The basket is is adorable and perfectly fitting for the eggs. Again, I loved it all and I thank you. Blessed Be! HUGS to all.

Love the Goddess face! And the eggs are a great idea - there are so many great printed tissue papers out there that could be used. I was recently introduced to printed cocktail napkins too - even more designs to choose from, and the paper is so thin and soft (use only the top layer) that it'll form to any shape.

I hope there'll be a flurry of photo postings shortly - lots of people have received in the past few days.

I received a very Ostara-full package from Witchhippie this weekend! Me and my little pixies love everything inside of it, and here are some pictures to share (there are a lot of it!):

Two very beautiful, and very sturdy (clay covered metal box) eggs, I LOVE them and will be part of many Ostara celebrations for years to come!

The eggs contained some new friends for our ferie village:

A bunch of soap. I can't tell you enough how delicious they smell. (there's more of them and kids will have them in their eggs)

Something for me to open on Tuesday Smiley

And some more egg-fillers

And a group shot of everything /wide shot of the altar cloth I got as well!

Thank you so much! You really hit the mark and everthing was really just my taste. Thank you! Cheesy

Love the acorn fairies! That's just about the best thing I've seen all month - I hope I can remember this when it's acorn season again!

I love the idea of eggs containing little gifts and prizes. Not just Kindereggs (which are wonderful in their own way) but reusable hard egg containers.  I remember that the best part of Easter egg hunts was the hunting - once you found the hard-boiled eggs they lost their appeal!

I can't believe I missed the altar cloth, Maman. It's beautiful, and quite huge! Did you know how big to make it, Witchhippie, or was it just a lucky guess?

In other news, Holistic Knitter reports that she has received my package, but has a downed computer and can't post photos yet.
