I finally broke down and tried making something with that ruffle yarn that's so popular - I figured I should know what I'm talking about when customers ask me about it (I work at Michaels).

This is Red Heard Sashay in the Mambo colourway.

I used a 6mm hook, and always working by skipping every other large hole that runs along the top edge of the yarn, I made a chain as long as I wanted the scarf to be, then sc all along it, and then slip stitched back.

The scarf measures just shy of 6 feet long.  Not bad, really!

It's not really my style, but at least now I know for sure how to do it.  I found that it was easier to crochet with it than to knit, but it was still irritating to work with, hence the title.  Cheesy

There's a tutorial coming, but I need to get ready for work now, so it'll have to wait until tomorrow!

A cool way to learn about your products. You chose some nice colours too.

Any chance you are still going to do a tutorial?  I've had this bookmarked waiting for it.  I also have 2 skiens of yarn I want to do something with but just don't get how to crochet with it and my knitting skills are very lacking...
