In my decision-making process on figuring out a color palette for my little painting I recalled this little internet gem that I wanted to share with you guys:

http://kuler.adobe.com/#create/fromacolor

It's an application that generates a color palette for you based on criteria that you input. I only work in traditional medium, so I don't use any of the hex codes, but I find that playing around with it gives me a lot of inspiration and I can see how different colors will look next to each other without actually digging into my medium.

Isn't that a fun toy?  I love it!!!

So I have my project all ready to go. I picked a spring inspired theme and I hope the person I am sending to will enjoy it! I had other visions in mind but decided to stick with something safe since I will not know who my partner is until send time. No skulls or chaos lol

oooooh... color palette generator... why is it that generators are always radical? (anagram generators, the ones that save you from black outs, etc)

Ahh, crafting breakthrough tonight! I will probably finish mine tomorrow. I'm kind of in love with it, but I can make another for myself later (or a whole set, which is more likely).

I did a couple pieces, but not entirely crazy about them so back to the drawing board so to speak lol! I had a great idea but it hasn't turned out how I've envisioned so I will try at it until I get it right!!!

I had planned to make multiples, then I got distracted by yarny pursuits, and now all plans have been set aside thanks to medical issues. But I'm really pleased with my initial project, odd as it is, so I'll be proud to ship that one out Smiley

I have started 4 backgrounds - I hope to complete 4 pieces: one for my Craftster partner, one for ArtHouse Coop and one for me! The other can be the default mistake-making one.
