Is copper an acceptable medium for this swap? Thinking of doing some etching if so. Thoughts?

yep. Copper is totally cool.  But wait! Oh, this is sad.  You have to be a member of Craftster for a month before you can swap, and you've only been for a just over 2 weeks...
