Need ideas and suggestions for scarves.

I have about 10+ scarves. Ya know, the thin ones you wear to look cute, not so much to keep warm.
They are all sorts of colors.  Most of them are white with colored patterns on the ends, with tassels.
I'm not a big scarf person.  I bought them because they were real cheap....     Anyways... I have
had them for a long time, and they are just taking up space.  Any ideas on what I could do with them?
If I can't think of anything for them I am going to try and sell them I guess.

Well, if you want to turn them into a scarf that WILL keep you warm, you could try something like this:



I made that from the yarn and trimmings and fabric bits I got in the Rapunzel Scarf Swap, along with lots and lots and lots of stuff I had around my craft room. I used a tutorial for braiding leather for a belt. The pieces are supposed to be ten feet long and my scarf ended up about 6 feet long. If your fashion scarves are pretty short, you could sew the ends of two scarves together to get one long strand for your braiding, or even cut/tear the scarves in half lengthwise so that you can make one long strand from the same scarf.

use them like you would any large pieces of scrap fabrics--they're usually pretty long, but somewhat sheer (at least the summer scarves I own). I would only make anything from them if you like the fabric to begin with--there's no point in crafting something you wouldn't wear.

my best bet would be to just sell/donate them if you don't foresee being able to make anything you'd actually like to wear.
