I didn't see a thread for this yet and I actually have something to contribute this week so I thought I'd start it.

I havn't spun in probably half a year and then all of a sudden got this urge and now it's all I want to do. Smiley

Someone told me once that you'll just all of a sudden get "good" at spinning with practice.  It really did happen...one day I was spinning crappy..thick/thin...just didn't have it yet...and the next they are magically consistent!  Maybe practice really does make perfect!  Smiley

love the colors of the first one!   Congrats on getting more consistent!  Even after over 3 years spinning nearly every day, I'm still having issues with consistency. Not major ones, but issues none the less.  I'm taking a class called Getting Even at fibre week this year, so hopefully I'll be a lot more consistent consistently!

sarahj2001, your yarns are beautiful!  I have issues spinning even yarns as well, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that someday, my yarns will be 'magically consistent' Cheesy

Gorgeous!!  The colors of the first one are totally drool-worthy.  Love that last green and yellow one too!

Here's mine for this week, "creme de menthe" 181 yards of alpaca singles.  I dyed the roving with Wiltons kelly green, in a low-water immersion to get some variation of color.  It's very soft!

nikschaf, that is a gorgeous single!

I love your yarns this week, MLF. Wow, those are thin and even perfection!

I'll be back in a bit with the goofy things I spun this week. Smiley

Okay, here goes!  Cheesy

This first one is a cotton nylon blend, unraveled and respun. I will probably weave something for in my new house with this. A move for us coming later this year. After we move, I will have a studio. Many ducks to get in a row first, though.

This one was a lambswool/acrylic blend that I kettle dyed after unraveling, then core-spun and plied with metallic crochet thread.

More yarns coming later today, after I have time to get them cropped, etc...
