so pretty! LaughingLark, I love that sweater yarn... I've been recycling sweaters for a while now, just rolling them into balls and crocheting away... I'll have to try respinning some of it!

LaughingLark -- your idea of spinning the little bits of unraveled yarn like locks is GENIUS!!  I've been frustrated with trying to unravel sweaters before because it can be so  hard to unravel it in one continuous yarn to roll into a ball.  But, cut a sweater into little squares and then unravel those?  That I can handle!!!  So I'm currently unraveling a sad old holey merino sweater, and we'll see what becomes of it.
