I made a travel type of bag.

It's the first one that I have ever made and I'm very pleased with how it came out.

I use one type of fabric for the outside and then a heavy interfacing and yet another kind of fabric for the inside.

I want to make more.

Next time I will put a handle on it.

I actually mixed two patterns together.
I used a book and online tute http://modernquiltlove.wordpress.com/2009/07/14/perfect-box-pouch-tutorial/

A book about bags http://www.amazon.com/Simply-Sublime-Bags-Low-Sew-Projects/dp/0307393623/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1330967076&sr=1-1

And I put my personal touch to it. I use two fabrics and a thick interfacing to make it more stiff, and I left off the handle (imo, I should have included). But it was super easy!

Thanks for the link! I've got some vinyl lying around somewhere that's just screaming to be made into a bag like that.
