Wow! I totally love this! I love cables & so this is awesome! I can knit, but don't think I'd venture to make something that I'm sure took a very long time. 1 of the main reasons I prefer crochet is it takes less time. I have learned to crochet cables, which is awesome, but I don't know that there's as much versatility as with knit. Oh well, gotta give to get, right?

Wowsers!  That's gorgeous, looks so very snuggliy!  I have been wanting to make something similar after I saw a celtic knot pattern so thx for putting the pattern details up coz the lover's knot may be a better choice after all Cheesy
