started packaging things up and....ummm...did anyone else go as overboard as I did. here are all my "leftovers" (black and white so I don't ruin the surprise)

I did some dyeing this weekend!  Including what I've already wound up in mini skeins, it looks like I have more than double the number of skeins I'll need for my partners   I'll have plenty to pick from as I work on packaging the mini skeins to send off to their new homes

I bought all my yarn, I just need to make the skiens and mail

I got a mix of handdyed and bought yarns, gotta skein them and post them. altho I'd be quite tempted to dye some more ... I'll see. I just moved house, and there are still things in boxes, but I think I know where my dyeing stuff is packed away. But then I wanted to try to send early cause all my partners are overseas so they don't have to wait too long!

I should probably mention that I'll be sending a mix of commercial and dyed yarns...for variety

Doling out yarn into mini skeins is kind of relaxing. I hope to have all my packages in the mail by Wednesday!

Needed to go to the post office to mail other packages got me inspired to get my mini skeins in the mail!  Hopefully I did everything right.  I always worry that I did something wrong.  I don't know why, haven't had issues before, I just worry.  I've been knitting socks instead of hexipuffs but I hope to get back to the hexipuffs soon!

I hope to mail wednesday if I can.  I started wrapping the skiens last night - they aren't twisted quite as pretty as some of your guys that I've seen, but they get the job done.  I've never worked with sock wt yarn before

I got my packages all ready to send out and received my first package as well!!!!

I had a rough day and I have the place to myself tonight, so I plan to spend the rest of the night puffing!

I don't mind if you post a pic, but the others in our group might want you to wait.  Everyone is getting the same mix.  I can't believe you got them already.  I only mailed them yesterday!  The mail was speedy!
