So glad I got this one done early - life has been so crap, wouldn't have got it done if I'd have left it!

Received from loudxmouse today. I was going to spend time knitting up some of the new skeins I received and I can't find my bamboo needles! I'm so sad. Trying to use my metal ones is impossible, the yarns slide right off Sad Guess I'm heading to JoAnn's tomorrow after the dentist.

I've tried my first 2 hexis and they both look... deformed.  The sides look weird and they look squat.  Does any one have any suggestions?  I am using a 3 instead of a size 4 needle, would that really make a difference?  Shouldn't it have the same shape just smaller?
It's frustrating, I want to start puff-ing Tongue

Are you by any chances forgetting your knit row in between increase rows (and decrease rows)?  That's the only thing I can think of right now.

That makes the most sense to me as well.

You might try knitting them on 5 needles instead of 3 as well. If I have issues with any of mine it's because of funky tension on my inc or dec edges

Yea, i was going to say the same thing those 2 said...  It doesn't seem like a size 3 would make that much of a difference.

I've been knitting mine one 2 circulars (since I hate dpns and always have tension problems with them)...and I can do 2 at once like socks. Smiley

You do a knit round after each round of increase?  Yea, I think I read that wrong, I was doing all the increases, then one knit round then all the decreases and a knit round.
I feel dumb  Roll Eyes
That's probably it.  I did switch to a non-metal needle too, I think that might help
