Woo-hoo!  I received my gift from rubies-pearls today!  Look at the cuteness she made for me:



She saw these little critters on my wist, and crocheted them right up for me!  There is a lot of detail in the faces.  I think my favorite is the pink one, because she has a kind of ruffle around the bottom edge, sort of like stubby octopus legs!



It amazes me that she could make them so quickly!  I don't crochet, and I am impressed by those who do!  Thank you so much, rubies-pearls, this is a great birthday gift!

I'm glad they got there safely! I think the pink one is my favorite too, but I also really love the vibrant blue yarn! Glad you like them!!

Those are so cute!  I got a package notification from the post office today.  I asked that they deliver it to my home (not sure why they didn't leave it in the first place)

I have finished my claim and will be sending tomorrow.  I need to go and see who I can claim next!

Howdy, I'm sending in my questionnaire. Love this swap, it's so laid back. I've been focusing on school as I went back this fall. I'm trying to beat my oldest daughter to the graduation line. If all goes well I'll graduate nursing school before she finishes high school. WooHoo. Off to browse birthday lists.

I second that!  Is anyone doing anything special for their birthday this year?  I wasn't going to but my boyfriend decided that we should have a party.  So Saturday will be a combo St. Patty's day/birthday party.  My uncle will also be here next week from out of state so we will be going to dinner one night to celebrate.
