LOL on the craft supplies diets Grin  Which brings me to my reason for posting at this moment, I've 'trimmed the fat' from my own craft room in the form of a HUGE grand re-opening of my shop!  TONS of new supply items, a couple new crafted items (with more to come soon, I'm sure!), and several new freebies in the top of my shop.

Here's a sampling...

Lovin all the supplies! I am going to try and organize a craft part for myself and a few gal pals soon. I may be shopping for fabric scraps etc... Anyone ever thrown a sewing party in their house? Any tips on setup or easy group sewing crafts?

Hi Rangerbeth!
I haven't thrown a sewing party, but it sounds like lots of fun.  Mine would go something like invite Ptarmic over and then ply her with lots of yummy food and beg her to teach me to sew.  Smiley

Oops, guess I shouldn't be telling this to you know who.

Thanks Jo!  I actually did do lots of seed bead work a long time ago when my dexterity was better, but now I barely do any.  Sad

I think there's a clause in the yarn diet that allows you to give a good home to yarns that need to live in your home Wink

and LxM, I am sure I should not be asking this, but....
any particular brands you plan to destash?
even though I really am trying to stay on my yarn diet....

Not any that spring to mind. I have some art yarns/handspun, some labeless worsted, etc

ps. anyone want DPN keepers? I just found a place to get all the parts!

atsuko, I've got beads and beading supplies GALORE in my shop right now Smiley

The only yarn I have is cotton yarn, Sugar and Cream I think?  It's just an off-white, ecru color, no special colorway or anything.  Great basic for making simple dishcloths!
