I made a cute skully guitar strap for one of our cousins for Christmas! It was a little tricky but it worked out well. I used a kit that came with the webbing for the strap, the plastic loops to put the finished strap through and the small leather pieces to attach the strap to the guitar.

I just followed the instructions in the kit, but I also blogged about it here - http://www.soverydomestic.com/blog/index.php/2012/02/28/4080/

What a good idea (Guitar strap kits) and you've made it up beautifully.

Very cool!  You've inspired me, my store bought guitar strap is too long for me, I bet I could make one that actually fits me!
Off to check out your blog!
