I don't use the word "epic" very often, but it's the first one that comes to mind with this blanket!

The stats:
Yarn: Bernat Satin scraps, approximately 2835 yards
Hook: 5.5mm, I/9
Technique: Jacob's Ladders
What's new? : going in odd directions and criss-crossing them
Time to make: 8 days.  Seriously.   Seriously.

I worked on this while my fiance played the Mass Effect 3 free demo:

Here's a close-up:

And the back:

The question now, is... what am I going to work on when the game actually does come out??

I would love a pattern for this.  How did you get the criss cross effect?

Simply amazing. Please include a progress pic so people can understand just how fabulous this really is, I know I was astonished the first time I saw you gather up those ladders.

The industrial economy is a growth economy- never enough and never satisfied-
whereas the craft economy is a dancing economy- always active and always joyful.

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.
