So happy to be on the receiving end - can't wait Josefine!

And I brought pouch #1 to school to show the kids what sewing maching sewing looks like (I teach hand-sewing to the Pre-K class each year and one little guy keeps asking how much faster would he finish his projects with a sewing machine!) and it was approved by 4 out of 5 five-year-olds. So I feel confident that I made a goood choice with my wacky fabric idea.

Oh, it's the best to get things pre-approved, especially by kids or persons who have childlike traits- I do that too Grin All of my swap projects come to school with me before send-off and if someone tries to steal them, I know they will work for the swap Wink Your number 1 was almost immediately snatched up,Smmarrt, so at least with that I didn't go totally wrong, I hope. (Here's a hint: it contains material with which to combat evil doorknobs Grin) It was a challenge to work without fluffy fabric, though Grin
... eek... getting a little anxious about it's meeting with your approval....

Can't wait too see what you've come up with, Smmarrt!
But as suereal mentioned, Craftster swaps teach patience when dealing with the postal service's (lack of) speed.... Grin
I might try to wrestle my impatience into the ground by using fiddlegirl8's method of spoons and rubber bands, although that might lead to an odd MacGyver-moment Grin

I'm mailing out today, as soon as I can go to lunch.  Here's a teaser shot for you Suereal!

Yay! for intentionally blurry not true to color shots!

I'm hoping it gets to where it's going!  Last time I shipped to Canada it took 1 1/2 weeks to get to it's destination.

I got weird looks from coworkers and a "oh that's so cute....what is it?"  I wasn't going for cute, but I guess bright fabrics elicit that response.

Peeps say "Cute" sometimes when what they want to say is "Ehgad!  What were you thinking??"...which is what the "what is it?" part is for.  IF it is making most folks look confussed, then it is perfect for me Grin  It's funny too, because I could have taken a teaser shot that would look nearly exactly like what you posted LOL.  While it is probably completely different from what I made, we did use similar color pallets Grin

To all past swap partners....If something I made you fell apart in some way, it would be helpful to me if you PMed me and told me about it.  Sometimes, I try new things, and if they fail, it helps me to know

As soon as the boy child gets on the bus, I'm off like a herd of turtles to the Post Office to send my monster. Please be ready to feed it when you receive fiddlegirl8!

Funny, I don't remember being absentminded...

I need a skein (two would be great) of Knit Picks Gloss Bare sock weight to finish a shawl.
