My name is Carey, 35, and I live in Palmer Alaska.  I am a Registered Nurse and work an hour away in Anchorage.  I am originally from Northwestern Wisconsin.  I have two darling teen daughters ages 13 and 14, and a hubby who is going back to school for engineering.  We have a awesome dog Buddy, rescued American Cocker Spaniel and two individual black cats, Harley and Gypsi.  We love the outdoors, camping, fishing, hiking.  I am a earthy, hippiesque person who loves to garden, recycle, compost and the like.  I am pretty ecclectic but don't care to receive political or religious items. Fave colors are purple/blue/green, silvers.

My themes are:

I claim faemystique for a quote

12/7/6

I'm in Winnipeg, and I'm trying to create larger wall art pieces with clusters of ATCs.

-Zombies
-Werewolves
-Anatomical heart
-Killjoys (info here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=365361.0 ) I have a Party Poison now, but Kobra Kid or Jet Star or Fun Ghoul, or really, anything else would be fantastic.
-Rebelling against society (basically free choice, for my friend that appreciates communism, conspiracies, sleeping under bridges when he has an apartment, and graffiting NO CHOICE around polling stations. Whatever you can think of)
-FEMALE Alphabet... (name) the (weird hobby) like Wanda the Whalewatcher. Create your own character, and be as weird as possible! A B C E F O P Q S X taken
-MALE Alphabet... (name) the (weird hobby) like Gerald the Gumchewer. Create your own character, and be as weird as possible! C G H M Q R T X Z taken
-Monsters with a story. A monster of your choice, but on the back or on another piece of paper tell me what it's deal is (for example, the only one I've made is The Umbrellaer, who pokes holes in umbrella cloth so you still get wet)
-Fairies with a story. Again, tell me what it does!

I'm not attached to your world, nothing heals, nothing grows... we used to love ourselves, we used to love one another.

life is no cabaret- we don't care what you say, we're inviting you anyway, you mf'ers, you'll sing someday!

I claim pilarfarmer for capricorn!

3/2/2

I would like to put together a picture to hang near the door to swap out every month to use as a sort of calendar. With that in mind, I would request nothing extremely bulky as it will be framed, but if you really have a crazy idea, go with it anyhow! Oh, and in California.

I am hoping for:

An ATC of each month (January, September, December, July and May taken)
An ATC for each numbers 1-31 (these will be reused within each month-> 1-6, 13-14 taken)
An ATC for each holiday (to sub in for the number during the month-> July 4th, valentines, st pattys, christmas, fathers day, mothers day, and Halloween taken)

Or, feel free to pull a wildcard artist's choice!

robinpich to pilarfarmer for "rainbows"
due 4/10

4 claims/3 sent/1 rec'd

HI, I'm Robin.  I live in Alabama currently but am moving to Florida (please contact me prior to sending for correct address). Not sure when I'll be moving.  DH starts a new job on 3/26, but I get the fun job of cleaning out a house of 27 yrs, packing up all the crap not sold at a yard/moving sale AND finding a new job............Wish me luck!
I don't have much crafting time but I could not NOT join the ATC swaps.  They are small enough that I can leave these supplies til the very last to pack up

My themes are THE ALPHABET: I'm trying to complete the entire alphabet and also complete my last name (thanks for the idea Jillybeans!

Alphabet - vertical card only please, nothing extended beyond the card.  The Letter the most prominent item on the ATC.
No Zentangles please.

Letters needed for Alphabet: D,E,F,G,H,I,L,N,T,V
(I rec'd an AWESOME D from Rosie1981 that was Zentangled and I'm going to complete that alphabet also at a later date, so I put the D she sent with those so I added a D back to my list here - make sense?  Wink )
Letters needed for Last name: C,H,L,R

PS:  if anyone is trying to complete an alphabet, I have several duplicate letters I rec'd from other swaps (if you don't mind cards passed on from another person) and some I've made.  PM me if you want to do a personal trade.

Thanks!!! Happy crafting!
