YEs, when I was a kid, peeps were only yellow.  I think the colors are a recent happening -- like in the last 20 years.

They also have bunnies, but not as cute. I think I have even seen peeps fabric? For those who aren't big marshmallow eaters there are recipes on-line. Several of the more clever ones made me laugh.

I'm glad I was able to send you something they don't have in the UK. I suggest trying one because people either love them or hate them it seems like. I don't care for them to much but I know lots of people that love them.

SO funny. I am just gathering treats for the International Snack Swap right now. My partner is aussie and I have been having a blast finding treats that she doesn't have access too. The excess of easter candy in the shops right now is making it so much fun. Who wants a reese's cup when you can have a reese's egg?

I opened it today (first chance I had) and it is WONDERFUL!

First 3 items I opened were
Round = the cutest hoopla -- I love this darling marshmallow!
The letter T = Green tea that I'm anxious to try
Funny = a pattern book for easy crochet critters -- I'm glad they are Easy, since I'm such a
beginner with crochet!


Then we get to:
Green = amazing green yarn by Madelinetosh (love love love this yarn -- gonna find a special
project for it!) and some cute green heart buttons
Hard = crochet hooks (LOL we were thinking along the same lines for each other on this letter!)
Local = choc covered raisins  (mmm, mmmm, good!!)
and
Sender's Choice = a sweet little zip pouch that will keep me organized~

I'd never heard of peeps! they do look too cute to eat   

I'm loving that round marshmallow hoop  

My package from saintcady had a run in with the customs guys   But i'm happy to say it's here now  

Something recycled (senders choice) amazing, this skein of yarn is made from recycled jeans! -so cool and of course a lovely denimy colour  


Something green is this little fellow, I love dragonflies and this one is very cute i love his little face and eyes  


Related to the letter T. Twisted two ply! Spun by Saintcady, her second ever skein! it looks very professional and has lovely colours in it  


Something local. This amazing cone of yarn, saintcady is lucky enough to live near a shop called Yarnia, they make DIY yarn, letting you choose the yarn ingredients!! - you guys have the coolest shops in the US!


Something funny, I love this, so clever, a charm bracelet made from stitchmarkers, I don't know whether to wear it or use it in my crochet, or perhaps both, but not at the same time!


I have dry hands, it drives me mad when knitting with fine yarn it snags on me all the time!! Something hard is an absolutely gorgeous smelling jar of Berts Bees handcream  -Saintcady's favourite brand


Something round. A glass bead soup necklace, such pretty beads
