So glad you like everything, TBB!  I enjoyed crafting for you!   The bags I wrapped things in are from our local pasty shop (a pasty is a meat pie, pronounced with a short "A").  It's a Cornish traditional and very big in the U.P., especially in mining towns because the miners could have a hearty meal mid day, and even warm it if a fire was handy.  The Yooper bar has the shape of the U.P. on it if you were wondering what that dark area is supposed to represent.  Cheesy

Miss B -- orange and purple were on TBB's list of favorite colors -- that's where all the orange came from.  Cheesy

p.s.  I can use a semi-colon because I am an English teacher!  Cheesy

p.p.s.  I decorated the journal, but it was crafted by raeraethejetplane in STS!  Cheesy

So, I received on Saturday but didn't get a chance to open and take pictures until today! I got super spoiled by my partner, sarahj2001. Sorry for the wonky-sized photos...I got tired of waiting on photobucket to re-size...I'm impatient.

First up, a picture of the total package:

Sender's choice (which I absolutely LOVE and can't wait to work with!):

Round (a crocheted hat that my daughter has claimed):

Funny (traffic cones!!):

Green:

Local (I can't wait to work with this yarn either, I love the color!):

Hard (I believe that Sarah made these soaps as well!):

And related to "T," I could not for the life of me get a decent picture by itself. It is in the group shot if you look closely. Related to "T" is a teeny-tiny skein necklace! How freakin cute is that?!?!

I got lucky to get Sarah as my partner Smiley

I would love to see a close up of that skein necklace if your partner took photos before she sent...it looks so cute!

I got my goodies from my lovely partner loves2experiment!

First off: Round
Yarn Ball! I've never had one before, it was so much fun. Look, one of my very fave hooks sticking out! (Clover Soft Touch!)

Partially unwound...Getting impatient! Cheesy

I'm not that good at winding balls (TWSS!) but I think I did ok! Inside were lots of yummy hot drinks--tea and cocoa and cappuccino mix! And the cotton yarn and hook is to make this pattern for Nubbie Scrubbie washcloths!

T-Trio of my favorite yarn. Mmmm so soft! Lion Microspun

Hard-hardcover book of Crocheted prayer shawls! I love making shawls, what a great book!

Green--green drawstring bag. This is so cute, and the perfect size to carry around some of my crochet (or embroidery) goodies!

Local--delicious, delicious chocolate nut crisp candies. Like amazing peanut brittle covered in good chocolate. I'm not sure how my partner knows I like chocolate though, I'm sure I've never mentioned it! My mom and I might have each had one for dessert...and then two more fell out of the bag, and it would have been rude to put them back in the bag...so we each had another one. And that's all I'm confessing to today.

Funny--hoop!
"Knitting gives me anger!" It's so true, I can't knit but occasionally I try, and end up throwing the needles across the room! Love it Cheesy

Sender's Choice--fingerless mitts for my giant arthritic hands! Love these, and in a perfect color!

Thank you so much l2e! I hope you like your goodies as much as I like mine, and they fly your way swiftly! Cheesy

I received a lovely package from RubyTuesday this morning! So many fun goodies!

1) Something local - Kinder Surprise eggs. I'm going to try very hard to be good and save these for my son's Easter basket. We all loved Happy Feet 2, so it'll be perfect!

2) Something round - a needle bug! He's so cute; I just love him. Tapestry needles are my most-used item and maybe now I'll be able to go a whole month without losing one!

3) Something green - sage green and tan scarf. It's so soft and cuddly. Smiley

4) Something related to the letter 'T' - Terrifying Dragon (+ friends) finger puppets. These are super adorable and will definitely be put to use; probably today!

5) Something funny - funny felt fish! (Bonus points for the alliteration.) Adorable funny fish with washers attached for my son's magnetic fishing game. Thank you; he'll be thrilled!

6) Something hard - glass-encased leaf pendant. So beautiful and very much my style - I love it!

7) Sender's choice - handspun yarn and a great pattern. The colors are beautiful, the yarn is super soft, and the pattern is one I wanted!

Everything is wonderful, Ruby. Thank you!

Awesome stuff everyone! I was just able to post my package today and I had to fill out a huge customs form! I had to write down everything in the box and its weight and price. This was a nightmare!
