I received from miss Barbara today. I had great fun opening all the treasures. Great way to start a 12 hr work day.

Round- cherry blossom necklace. I seem to remember favoriting something  like this somewhere. It is very pretty, if you want to use the pic for posting it on the stash busting board you can.

"T" - thread purse, really interesting; and tiny yarn person, so cute.

funny- Mr. Yarn Head, doesn't he just make you smile  Cheesy

Senders choice- 100% cotton specialty yarn in a lovely blue/green colorway. I will have to make something special out of this. Also a cozy pair of slippers that I love. I need a better pic as it is hard to take pics of your feet. Don't mind the busy background, I was taking pics of something yesterday and my son insisted on putting his new poster in my room.

green- lg patchwork bag. Love the colors and the lining is so pretty too. I love the patchwork look.

local- shells, beach glass, and buttons. My fav may be the "keep calm and carry yarn" one.

something hard- extra hooks and a pottery dish. I put these in the dish before reading it was her intention.

Thank you for everything.

I was so excited when I heard a knock on my door and it was the mailman with my package!!

Everything was wrapped in this paper together:

Past that paper was this adorable bag that contained all of my goodies!

Detail on the side of the bag:

This also counted as something related to the letter "t" (totes).

Everything inside of the bag:

A Batman postcard! He is my favorite superhero ever so I was super excited to see this.

Something Funny: A knitting journal that says "I knit; therefore, I rock!" Not only is it cute, it also has the correct usage of a semicolon!

Another tote. This is my favorite thing in the package! I had actually been wanting a hook holder and did not even mention this to A2K!

Something green: Thrifted hooks! You can never have too many!

Something round: Stitch markers and a row counter!
Something hard: Yarn needles! I lose these a lot so this is awesome xD
Also some grippers for my crochet hooks to make them more comfy to use Smiley

Something local: A Yooper Bar! Chocolate O_O I cannot wait to eat this. A2K says that a yooper is someone from the upper peninsula of Michigan!

Sender's Choice: Handspun yarn! The leftmost is spun by A2K herself and is so pretty!!

I love everything in my package, and I've already filled the smaller tote with all of my hooks! Thank you so much for an awesome first swap, A2K and Kayrun!!!!

I have to say that 'Mr. Yarn Head' was inspired by my working with preschoolers... Grin...the cherry blossom necklace was on my partner's wist/pinterest but I had to wing it as I made it and was so proud of myself, b/c "winging it" doesn't usually work for me, and the pottery cup was a stroke of luck to have found.
