I received a WONDERFUL package from Kayrun yesterday!!

sender's choice - It's a...bowl?  I walked around with it on my head for a bit thinking it was a hat.  Love it though!! (from my pinterest)

Something that starts with a "T" - T-shirt yarn and Noro Taiyo!!!

Something hard - stitch markers!

more from the something hard category! - bamboo knitting needles and hooks!

something local - cherry blossom souvenirs!

something green - seeds and cards!

something round - apple cozy that has been on my ravelry queue for ages!

something funny - pie soap from my etsy faves!

Thank you sooo much Kayrun.  One of the best swap packages I've received so far! Cheesy

Some fab stuff here! So glad my partner loved what I sent and thanks for all the lovely comments on the elephant - i was so pleased with him! I actually made two as my first one didnt come out perfectly - but was quite pleased to have made two as the first one was what I was knitting when i found out about my Nan dying - and as sentimental as i am I would have found it soooooo hard to send off!

I received an awesome package yesterday - and so need to put up pics, but i've been really poorly for the last couple of days (just avoided hospital with asthma attack/chest infection) and not been up to it - feeling bit better now so fingers crossed tomorrow they'll go up!

Yeah, I didn't know how awesome these were until my daughter got one for Christmas last year so I was super excited to see one with the SC flag on it because it fit so perfectly with the "local" category! Smiley

I don't know what to make with this noro taiyo stuff.  I have a bad habit of hoarding noro and just admiring it.  lol

LOL  I like to do that too with pretty yarns   Grin
I made a nice scarf (if I say so myself) out of one ball of Taiyo...
never posted a pic in my Rav projects, but I used this pattern & cast on 26 st (mine is about 50 in. long,
so if you like it longer, you could cast on fewer st for a skinnier look)

Enjoy!  That is one of my favorites made by Noro....

There are quite a few made with Taiyo:

I made this with 160 yds of another yarn, so it might work with Tairo (hopefully the
lace & the colors would work ok together):
