ties for my boys

Hi  I finally finished last year's Christmas gifts for my brother, dad, and grandpa...  im terrible i know
but they know im a procrastinator and still love me 



i think they will each love the print i picked for them

Those are really cute! Great work! I bought a tie pattern one time, looked at it for awhile, and then gave up. Also, don't feel bad, I finished my boyfriend's Christmas quilt this week too!

i used the pattern found here:

but i'll admit i did not follow directions. the ties do come out about 6 inches or so shorter than a normal tie but you could easily add that to the pattern before cutting fabric (which i will do next time)

thanks  they were fun to make and pretty fun to wear. ill be shipping them to my family this weekend and they should have them by next week and i will try to get action shots of them

my kid bro sent me a pic of him wearng his pirate tie. sorry its a poor quality cell pic... best action shot i have so far. please ignore smug look on his face lol (hes a 20y/o boy, i have no other explanation for it haha)
