I am blown away by the package LimeRiot received from jemimah!  Those birds are awesome - jemimah, can you tell me if you used a pattern for them, and if so HOW CAN I GET ONE!!  I like everything and the colors look so fresh - love the scarf.  And the cuff, and the note cards - so clever! Wow.    Smiley

Thanks guys!

I'm so happy you like your package Lime! Cheesy

The birdies are from a Burda pattern (issue 8/2011) - it is a very sweet little pattern.

The fabric basket is a funny one. I don't know if Lime will remember, I posted that I was making a __________ but it turned out to be a ________! That was it - I was making what I thought was a nifty bag/pouch thing, using one of those cool Japanese patterns that's got all the schematics and measurements, but nothing in English. But when I got to the final step it was actually a cushion! which wasn't so practical to mail ... so I added the lining and made a rather unusual basket. I thought it might be handy for yarn or something like that - so glad you can use it! Cheesy

My crafster crush on Jemimah grows stronger and stronger.

Mine too!! It's such a great package Smiley.

Aww, right back at you both! Smiley

You know, I think everyone's creativity in this gallery is craftster crushworthy! I haven't had a lot of time to comment and chat lately, but I have been admiring everything. Wow, every round of IYP inspires me!!

I just got a lovely angel package from Jemimah! Here's the loot:

Everything: a pretty little blue silk bag with flying bird silhouettes, 4 cards with stitched watercolors, a pair of hand-carved leaf stamps, a trio of knit leaf bowls, a little squeezy pouch which came stuffed with interesting buttons & a buckle, a little embroidered bee, a ceramic teabag holder, and (the main attraction Wink ) a really elegant embroidered cuff.

And a few close-ups:

of the cuff...

...pouch, leaf bowls, and buttons...

...and the bag.

Thanks so much, Jemimah!  These are all really beautiful work. Smiley
