Yay, I love UntouchableFace's contribution to my altered book!



So much depth with the colors, and the artwork on top is perfect. The surface feels like a kind of vinyl, which is really unexpected since this is a somewhat brittle old book. I'm so glad the altered book bug bit you!   (as in getting hooked on making art in books -- not as in biting insects being in this book, for the record.)

And as a pretty awesome bonus, she also sent me 3 skeins of reclaimed sweater yarn!
I've never had this much of one kind of yarn before, and I've just figured out the basics of crocheting, so thanks to this generosity I can actually make something of substance now that isn't a conglomeration of different scraps!   (I do love scrappy projects, but I also want to attempt something solid.)

In typical me fashion, i didn't realize that i missed some new entries here.

ahhhh THAT BAG, onegroovyday! it's like having a mini autobiography to take wherever LHH goes. each part is amazing, together--crazy amazing. extras? yikes! did you not sleep during this swap?! everything is so crisp and gorgeous. the two of you did such a creative dance here at the Chillin--it was great watching you.
