I forgot to take photos before I mailed it.  I'm terrible about that.  Amy, I found your photos.  Can I please use them to post under bags and purses?

Teamama, I learned to make them with Teesha Moore's tutorial on youtube.  They looked complicated and mysterious, but they are actually pretty simple.  Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yt49UgGzy6k
I'm totally going to try and look at them, because they look awesome, but you could post the thumbnail version here on the gallery if you like. That doesn't take up too much space when people are loading the pages and then we could click through to see the pics. It just looks like flower put in a lot of awesome work. Hopefully flower will make a posting for the sleeve on it's own and we could see pics there? I'm just kind of awed by teesha moore style anything because it's completely beyond me.

Tea.

Of course Flower, go ahead. and I'm happy you like your stuff, I had so much fun making it for you. Everyone's stuff is so awesome, this has definitely been an amazing experience, can't wait to join another.

Lilloubelle, that set of jewelry definitely captured the mood of Briar Rose, perfect.

Wow, that shadowbox is beautiful!  I love it!

I've been compulsively tracking my package and teamama's (Canada Post's website went down the other day, I just about had a fit refreshing every hour!) to see how they're doing.

Next, a BEAUTIFUL sewing machine cover that combines quotes and imagery from Rapunzel and Iron John.  I love, love, love it and the photo simply does not do it justice.  The main fabric is a rich chocolate brown.  Not only will I now have a gorgeous sewing machine, but it will also keep a certain two year old's fingers off of it!  Smiley

I may be wrong, but don't you mean Rumpelstiltskin in stead of Rapunzel? I can't rembember any spinning at al in the tale of Rapunzel... The cover is really nice Smiley

Yes!  Rumpelstiltskin!  Sorry, I was typing in the dark in my oldest son's bedroom last night.  He couldn't sleep because he was convinced he would have nightmares...I was a bit distracted.   Tongue  Luckily, no nightmares!

I just received from Teamama, and oh my goodness!  This is without a doubt the best swap package I have ever gotten.  I'm feeling a bit nervous about my package to her, it pales in comparison!

I should have taken pictures of everything all wrapped up attractively (sorry, Teamama, I had to sacrifice attractive wrapping in favor of bubble wrap, in your case...) but I completely forgot to, because I was so excited that I just started opening everything after I read the letter enclosed.

The first thing I noticed was that everything in the box smelled delicious!  That would be because of the charming little tea envelope!  She printed the inside fabric with quotes from Monroe - oh, Monroe one-liners, they will always be funny.  The outside is this adorable turquoise fabric that is my absolute favorite color.  And just because she is so awesome, she didn't send it empty, but she put three little home-mixed teabags in there!  You'll notice Morning in the Meadow, Grandmother's House, and Huntsman's Blend.  They smell so amazing; after typing this up, I'm going to go right to the kitchen to make a giant mug and curl up with a book!

Then there is this shell necklace, modeled after the one Nick gifts Juliette in the Hansel and Gretel episode.  It's so fun!  Subtle fan things are awesome.  I definitely know a few tees it will look very cute with.

There's also a knit envelope clutch that looks like wolf pelt!  Wink Well, it must be a safe place to put my cash and phone while on the town, because nobody would mess with blutbad anything.

And finally, the piece de resistance!  Tea mentioned in the opening letter a few clues on how to wear this, and I was already getting excited about it before I opened it up and nearly died.  YES, Tea made me a Red Riding Hood capelet, like the one in the pilot!  You know you're jealous.  Am I still wearing it, typing all of this up?  Yes.  Yes, I am.  Don't lie, you would be too.

My poor modeling skills don't quite show off the cape to the height of its awesome, so my effusive text will have to make up for it, haha.

Thank you so much, Tea!  You are an awesome swapper and a great organizer!  <3

TOTALLY relieved that your package made it safe and sound.... and that you didn't think that the cape was too weird/geeky.  My hubs was like "Uh, are you sure your partner's going to want that?" and I was like "Well. I'D want it... so yeah."

Also - I should probably mention that those tea-bags will likely make a full brown-betty of tea... (I hope you know what that is - it's a kind of teapot) so... probably 2-3 cups if you brew it for the full time mentioned on the labels. Enjoy!

Tea.

I got my package from sirael! And it's fabulous!

Here are the pics of all the wonderfulness!

SUPER awesome bag of a Little Red scene - my kids have already decided this is our new library bag. Fitting, no?

Amazing containers labelled in German for all my organ keeping needs. The labels are: Gallenblase (gallbladder), Zahnfleisch (gum), Luftrohre (trachea) [that o should have an umlaut over it, but my laptop keyboard won't allow it], Knochenmark (bone marrow), and Nachgeburt (placenta).

Some notepads with maps of Portland on them "to help you keep track of all the blutbad and other creatures I see". Plus - for when I'm taking Grimm-like notes... like a boss. Wink

And she started me off with a great sketch and one of my fave quotes. Smiley  (*he he - "wear pants")

Thank you so much sirael! I love it all.

On another note: That is the last package! So I want to say a huge thank-you to all of you for participating in this swap, complying with the rules of communication and sending wonderful packages to your partners. I was so lucky to have my first ever organization of a swap be with a group of totally awesome, non-flaky craftsters! You all rock!
