I got my hat from Alchamy513! I've actually had it for a couple days, but I was bad about taking pics right away... It's super cute- kind of a slouchy/beret with a lacy pattern!

Sorry for the crummy photos- I didn't have anyone around to help me take them, so I had to do the old arms-length-on-the-iphone thing.

Thanks so much Alchamy!

Oh, cute! It looks so good on you, IHearts. By the way, how did your move go? Are you all settled in?

It went well! I found a great apartment and have been working at the new job for a week and a half! I don't quite have all the normal furniture a person should have yet (i.e. my living room is completely empty), but picking things out and decorating (crafting?) will be fun anyways!

Looks cute on you IHeartsTheArts  Grin a new job and a new home will keep you busy! I remember when I moved in here with my 9 year old son and next to nothing, he's now 18 and I've acquired a husband and a ton of STUFF,I miss the days of just a sofa, a rug and 2 bookcases  Grin

Well congrats on the serging because there's no bulky obvious seam on the outside like you sometimes get with knits.

What yarn did you use, if I may ask? It's very soft and took a light steam very well.
