My daughter found a prom dress that she wants to buy from a friend. It has layer upon layer of tulle and is way pouffy. Do you think it would be possible to cut out a layer or two of the pouf and still look ok?

How much of the tulle is actually exposed? If it's not part of the look of the dress, you can clip some layers out no problem. If it's part of the actual look, you should be more careful, and spread out where you are removing the pieces.

None of the tulle shows. So I can eaisly remove it, just wasn't sure if it change it too much. Not sure how to say it. I want to change the look in a good way.

Well, if the tulle isn't visible then you don't have too much to worry about.  Just remove one layer at a time and stop before you've cut out too much. Smiley Just remember that if you remove too much of hte volume, the hem of the dress is going to hang lower.

I think i would be fine, just watch the hem. Borrowing a dress from a friend is way cheaper than buying one!
