I really have to protect my pillow from raiding vandals! Between alwaysinmyroom and OGD you'd think I'd need to keep it in a safe Wink! I can't say I blame them though - it really is awesome!!

petskin, that pillow cover is fabulous! It looks like you had fun with it. It looks awesome with your other pillows (and great blanket!), kathrynsss!!

Who couldn't love a pillow that is double husky approved?! That quiltiing is seriously amazing. I would never allow such detailed photos to be taken of anything I sewed Smiley! Great work, fiddlegirl!

With the great success of this swap, do you think you two want to have another round of this - YOU BOTH DO/DID SUCH A GREAT JOB, how can you tell us, "No"  !??

Thanks again - and thanks to my partners for swapping with me!!

I love Craftster!    Kiss xoxox  Smiley

Awww, you are so sweet! I'm glad that you had fun. I'd love to another round too. Calabaza (the original cushion cover swap org) and I will chat about getting another swap going. I'm sure we'll be able to arrange something soon Smiley.

Wowee, it came, it came and I'm so very excited. Moawk timed it so well, it has arrived the day before my birthday, yay for me! It is fab, with ruffled edges, a peiced middle which is a cord type fabric and an applique needle; it is going to fit on my sewing chair so well, I love how it is a bit more rectangular, it'll help my back when I've been sewing too long and started acheing! Hopefully it'll help me sew even longer!

Now for some pics

I'd like to thank everyone who has organised this swap, it has been brilliant for my first and certainly inspired me to do more. I'd also like to thank everyone who has taken part as it has really opened my eyes up to some new techniques and especially a massive thank you to Moawk, for a truly awesome pillow and some scrummy sweets that are long gone!

I love all of the entries so far and I too second a request for another round!  Grin

Geeze-Louise - what a SUPER spool of thread with a needle pillow!!  That is just plain brilliant!  Hats off to you, Moawk!  SO CLEVER!!!  The fabric pattern actually LOOKS LIKE THREAD!  Amaaaaazing!

You could pick a favorite color and do any kind of thread you wanted - variegated even, oooooo.  I am constantly in awe of the talent and uniqueness of Craftsters!  Another project to add to my list to try!   Cool  It's cool!!

It is a brilliant design, the needle is actually threaded through the green fabric rather than being done in 3 pieces and that green fabric has been pieced together at angles like that, so much work has gone into it. The edges are a really soft fabric too, it is super comfy, I am so lucky!

Whoa, that needle and thread cover is super clever! Ingenious work, Moawk!

For all you longing for another round, I've started a new swap idea thread and the lovely LimeRiot has offered to co-organize. Should be tons and tons of cushion fun!

Okay, so here's the Horrible (yeah, it's two r's. H, O, R, R, yeah, right) cover sloth003 sent me:

(For those who've never seen it, this is Dr. Horrible. sloth and I discovered we're both Joss Whedon fans. Cheesy)

And on the inside, some rainbow-y goodness:

Thanks so much, sloth, both sides are awesome! I can't believe you managed that with a broken arm, too.

And then, the cover I made for sloth (the Habs fan), her son (the Sens fan), and her "wishy-washy hubby" who cheers for both:

Side 1 (yep, the Sens go first - sorry, sloth, I'm with your son on this!):

Side 2:

The Dr Horrible side is pretty darn awesome, but I have to say, I LOVE the rainbow side! There have definitely been a lot of really awesome pillow covers in this swap! Cheesy
