These journals were created as extra little gifts for family members and swap packages.

They were really quick and easy to make and I think the recipients appreciated them Smiley. You can never have too many journals, if you ask me!

I used natural colored Moleskin journals as the base.

I embellished them using washi tapes in various prints, felt pieces and buttons attached with glue and stamped fabric stitched on with my sewing machine. I added names for extra personalization but I think I'm partial to the "Stuff" version Smiley.

Thanks for looking!

I carry around notebooks wherever I go too - mostly because I love making lists Smiley. Sometimes I make lists of the lists I want to make, ha!

What a lovely gift!  Your journals look really great.  I really like the stamped fabric Smiley

Thanks, NattyBee! I just did a tutorial on how I stamp fabric if you're interested...

Grin! I definitely know what you mean, wendiek! I've seen some journals in swap galleries that are so artistic that I'd rather hang them on my wall than write in them!

Thanks for your kind comments.

You're welcome!

And I checked out your stamping tutorial: LOL the first thing I see is achoo, hahaha, I think that is so funny! It makes sneezing and feeling ill at least a lot funnier!

I am a teacher, so I have access to the most wonderful letter stamps at school  Grin now I "need" to find the right ink and of we go! (We have a holiday next week, so they won't miss the stamps, yes I will return them after the holiday)

Again, thanks for sharing. I like the adding of words to your projects, it really adds something!
