I just participated in the Embroidery Hoopla Round 7 and the theme was Silhouette and Negative Space and I decided to go with the Negative Space.  I looked over my partner's Pinterest and came up with an idea and then did my interpretation of what I thought Negative Space was and came up with this in a 6" hoop:

I decided I wanted my own hoop so I created one for myself in a 4" hoop:

I think if I was to do another negative space hoop I wouldn't leave so much white space around the design, I'd fill it in more.

Those were 2 of my partner's color choices and since I like them both, I just had to go with them.
