Those are cool.  What is your source of wood?  It has a rustic, re-purposed look.  Have you done other sizes yet?  Like for holding kitchen utensils or around flower pots?  I'd like to see your other projects.

Well, there is a lot of geometry involved in making these, but the skills to do so are several hundred years old.
I basically make a really small barrel, the tricky bits are getting the bevels cut right and the taper for each slat correct. Each of these are made from between 14-18 individual pieces of wood, precision is a must.
