I love wearing things in my hair! So I try to make 'hair flair'. For the most part, I just assemble flower clips.. but fascinators and petits chapeaux are my favourites to do up.

The hat, and fascinators are made from paper mache, and then covered with fabric!

My latest baby is a mini, leopard print, pillar box hat

Close up...I put buttons on it! :

Here is the first fascinator I ever made, pink/black lace heart, with sparkly tulle :

Another leopard print (old photo!) :

And this is an Amy Winehouse inspired hair piece,
I sewed a 'lil velvet heart, and added a banner with my man's name
(in front of Amsterdam! Wink)

I want them ALL! I also want to be able to get my eyeliner to look like yours.

Love the leopard pillbox. Never thought to use a paper mache box and cover it, I just use a stiff felt for mine, but haveing a nice base totally opens up the possibilities.

Also its so nice to see some hair stuff with some skill and time put into it. I'm so sick of seeing everyone around town with storebought flowers hot glued to a clip and then them bragging about how they made it themselves.

What did you use to get the pillbox to stay in your hair?

I love all of them but especially like the leopard print heart!

I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.
