Totaly inspired by this: http://www.arthousecoop.com/projects/4x6exchange

Basically you create a piece of flat, 4x6 art, in your own style, in your own medium and you swap it with a random craftster!   You would get an address, but no information about who you are sending too.  Just make something beautiful and get something beautiful in exchange!

I was going to sign up for that but it filled up before I got the chance.  I'd be in.

Just one partner, it would simply be the 4x6 measurement required, so if you took 15 minutes to fill it with what you felt was your best work, then that's all it would take.  But I'd ask that you only send your best work.
I suppose so no one got anything that may seem offensive to them I'd ask in the q what do you find offensive?  And would you be craftinganything that someone might find offensive?    Does that sound like it would be safe enough?

I'd be into it, I have a seriously enormous stash of scraps and bits and pieces and have been wanting to do a little fiber collage with them. Could we talk about our ideas here and have them as part of the questionnaire guidelines? Just general stuff I mean.

Materials you would be using would be great as part of the questionnaire. And what materials would you want/not want?

Seeking scraps! I'm in need of a variety of white on white scraps. (2.5inch square minimum) for pixel quilts. Have any? Swap for? PM me! Smiley

I'm making a big giant fabric and paper scrap book thing to collect all those ticket stubs, charms, special beads, snips and snaps etc in, a sort of scrap happy memory book. Any medium would work for that so long as I could incorporate it or add to it to make it fit in some way. I'm pretty happy about any colour or material, it's only the themes I would have preferences for. Like I don't love cartoons, disney etc. I could always make something with whatever I get though so really it doesn't matter so much to me. More than what I receive I'd want some sort of guideline about what to send, a little inspiration in at least the sketchy form of likes would be helpful.

Well, you wouldn't really know who would be receiving yours, other then thier proper name.  And also you wouldn't know who you would be recieving from.  It's just a "Make something really awesome" surprise.  I would be the only person who would know who's recieving from whom, and would sort you out simply by the prefered materials to receive, what you find offensive, likes/dislikes etc.
