HI there I wondered if anyone has done a pebble moasic in their front yard?  I really like the look of them and I think I could make it a bit more formal so it would look good as my front walkway but I am concerned about clearing it during the winter and if it will just be a big mess?  Any thoughts?

My grandparents had a rock garden, and this sounds similar to the image I have of their rock garden.  They had a heck of a time with weeds.  I'd suggest putting down that black material that is specifically designed to block weeds in gardens before putting down the rocks. Also, if you do get weeds and you aren't particular about the chemicals you use, there's always weed killer sprays.

I second that, you'll need weed barrier.  If you do it, please post a photo!
