Um at the risk of sounding stupid or something.......  what exactly does threading your upper lip mean?  And what is a sugar recipe?  Sugar is sugar, no?

Sorry, just a little confused I guess.

I had an *interesting* experience with DIY sugaring stuff- I made a bunch in the kitchen, then covered a large portion of my leg with it- and then couldnt rip it off.

moral of the story: whatever recipe you end up with, test it on a small portion of your leg  (not your face!!) before you stick it anywhere else.

and I know that near where I live in worcester MA, you can have your upper lip or eyebrows threaded for about 5 bucks. So it might be worth it just to have it done.

Are you talking about waxing your lip?    If I were you I would NOT try to do it by yourself unless you have gotten it done professionally a lot of times before.  I remember this girl in jr high that tried to wax her own upper lip and had a terrible reaction that lasted for MONTHS and she was teased so bad.  Everyone called her Chewbacca (cause she was hairy I guess).  I think you need to go to someone that knows how to do things the right way right off the bat.

Have you ever tried bleaching? I guess it really depend on your skin colour, and how thick/coarse the hair is....
It is painless, though, and it kind of makes the hair less coarse, too.

I remember reading in a magazine that threading was the kind of thing you really need to get done by a professional.  I think there are some sugar recipies floating around craftster, you just need to search 'em up

id say just get the threading done, OR try Nad's. it's a honey-based green gel that you can buy for like $20 and it comes with cloth strips and applicators and evrything else. PLUS it's delicious :-p
